I just did a quick scan, and it looks like there is an inventory of about 166 'C' cars here in MA. I was amazed at how many of them are C1 models. Maybe I should buy one for my kid (she drives a gas-hog BMW SUV), then I could see another 'C' around town..
Saw a nice Habenero today in Matamoras, PA at a car wash fundraiser. My teenage daughter liked the color.
How do you do a scan like that? Can you tell how many of each of the colors there are (specifically interested in Summer Rain Metallic)?
Finally spotted a Prius C in Ottawa - mine! Picked up our Silver two on Friday. Love it so far. Traded in a 15 year old Honda CR-V. Gas mileage is great right from the start -averaging 4.4 l/100km (53.5 mpg).
It's under 'Search Inventory' or Shopping Tools.. Here's a link Firefox saved.. Toyota Dealerships - New & Used Car Deals & Special Offers | BuyAToyota.com
I guess I misunderstood your post. I thought you meant that 166 was the number that were already on the road in MA. I am so happy with my Summer Rain Metallic Prius C 2. It was hard to find, and I was just wondering how many other Summer Rain Metallics were driving around in MA.
I have not seen but one in Lexington (AKA Land-o-Prius) so my guess is there aren't a lot in MA yet. Just a few weeks ago there were hardly any Cs in the state (in dealerships) and now there's a bunch. I'll bet those are gone in a few weeks.
For the first time I saw a Blue C4 this afternoon at 24 Hour Fitness parking lot at Bellflower, Long Beach CA.
I was driving in my new Summer Rain C yesterday and had someone in a Prius lift back crank his head hard as I drove by haha I saw him practically turn around in his seat! Also, had someone stop me yesterday and asked me all about the car, the color, and my sales guy it was so fun!
I always thought that (The People's Republic of) Cambridge would one of the towns with the largest concentrations of Prius'. As well as Amherst, Lenox, and Stockbridge.
Saw an Absolutely Red model 2 at the Toyota dealership in Marion, IL last week (125 miles south of my home). The only Prius c that I've seen in the wild was the white one (that I posted about a few weeks ago) on Governor's Parkway in Edwardsville, IL (100 miles west of my home). No sightings in my travels 70 miles east, 60 miles north or in my home area. Prius c in any color seems to be a rare commodity in southern/central Illinois... Deb
You could be right. I avoid the Cambridge/“sanctuary city" and Somerville area. I used to work in Cambridge, and lived in Somerville 1967-1973. I really got my fill of the extra narrow roads and the worse drivers on earth. Not only will cars and trucks crash into your new car, I've been hit by motorcycles and bicycles! With the massive amount of vandalism in that area, I suspect that people would think twice before parking their 'C' on the street over there. Even out here in the burbs, it's nice to have a secure garage.. Plus you don't have clean off the snow so much..
Saw and Habenero exiting the freeway 2 as I was switching from 2 freeway to get on the 5 South/North, this morning.
Wow, I went from seeing barely any to seeing four in just a few days! Finally! I wonder if many of the early sales were to people who live out of the city? It's fun to finally see some others--still no Summer Rains, though!
I'm at the Seattle (Ballard) Fred Meyer and I'm parked right across from a either dark grey or black sand Prius c! our cars' noses are touching!
Doh! Good call, I haven't seen a Blue Streak yet! I can't go to that Fred Meyer any more it is too aggravating. Nice, my friend got a Magnetic Grey but really wanted a Summer Rain (she couldn't wait)...jealous! Oh yeah, Fremont/Wallingford have been my stomping ground for 11 years now.
I saw a blue streak C at the Iceburg in Draper today. It was very pretty, but still makes me think of Mazda blue. :\
