I'm looking for some cool cargo accessories that hold crap.

Basically want to hear what you all use...love it? hate it?

If possible let's keep out any trailer hitch accessories or luggage rack accessories. Thanks!

They have a folding organizer like that at Harbor Freight Tools (HFT) for about $10-$12. Whenever I come home from HFT with a new gadget, my calls it Harbor Trait Fools. Regardless of her opinion about HFT, she asked if she could have one of the organizers for her Prius.

That's the one. It comes in blue, also, and fits beneath the Prius storage cover in the back cargo area. You can get it for half-price when it goes on sale (every couple of months).

That looks pretty cool. Would two fit in the back or just one?

Do you know when it was last on sale?

Wow, just searched and found out there is a store here in my town. Can't wait to check it out tomorrow.

I got one very similar to the Harbor Freight one at Target for about the same price. Check our your local store (Target, Walmart, Meijer, etc.) in the automotive aisle.

Ikea might also be a place to look for organizer stuff. I just use the Toyota vertical cargo net for groceries and sometimes I use a big plastic tub, the Rubbermaid kind your get at any store. The cargo net is a little bit of a pita because your have to unhook the plastic d rings that connect it, to access the hidden storage. I clipped on metal d rings to the plastic ones, then use those to attach to the hooks in the car, to save on wear and tear (breakage) on the plastic ones.

I hang the cargo net off the back of the rear seat where it is not in the way. I reused the cargo net from my 2007 Camry. To install, snap the top loops of the net into the seat belt guides on the top of the back seat. Use small D-rings to connect the bottom loops of the cargo net to the cargo tie-down rings on the cargo floor. Works like charm, is out of the way and actually looks cool. You do have to disconnect the top loops from the back seat when folding down the back seat, which is easy to do and for me is not often.

Here are pictures of my cargo net empty and with items:

Her tail got caught when I closed the liftback once in another car. She's a smart little bugger, so all I have to do is say "tuck your tail" and she hunkers down with her tail carefully tucked under her butt.

We stopped there on a northwest U.S. road trip vacation that included Carhenge and a lot of the other wonderfull large and small sites of interest that abound in that part of the country, i.e: I-80 Archway, Mammoth Site, Crazy Horse, Mt. Rushmore, Devil's Tower, Black Hills, Sturgis Rally, Corn Palace, Wall Drug, etc. The Carhenge website is:

Hmmm, I really like the way how the rola fits almost perfectly in the inner section of the trunk leaving plenty room on the outer. The only negative is that it is a bit pricey. Regardless, thanx for the ideas:). I may have to get 1.

I own the Harbor Freight Trunk Organizer.
I think for the money it can't be beat.
It's durable, flexible, and the quick foldability is really nice.
