Visual differences between Base and Advanced...

    Hello. I was just wondering: besides the LED headlights, what other visual cues are there that a Prius Plug In is an Advanced model?

    The headlights washer nozzle plug. Other than that... I believe you have to look in the interior to notice the difference.

    What can you use to tell the difference inside? Is it labeled differently anywhere? Or is it just the options you can find?

    The front Toyota emblem on the advanced is flat because of the DRCC on the Advanced. If close enough you could also look to see if you see the 'cutout' in the dash for the HUD.

    As mentioned, LED headlamps and headlight washers on the advanced.

    No, it's not labeled anywhere that one is an advanced and one is the base. You just have to look for the better nav with larger screen inside, softex, HUD, auto dimming rearview mirror with homelink etc for the interior.

    How about the aloof look on the driver's face when he sees that you're driving a base model? :cool:

    Advanced comes with fog lights too. The base does not. They can be added, but it's pretty pricy since it requires a new front grill/garnish piece.
