Bluetooth Trouble?

    Although my phone (basic, not smart phone) works fine in my 2007 Prius, I can't get it to stay connected in my PiP (basic). Sometimes it connects, sometimes no matter what I do I can't get it to, sometimes it just disconnects in the middle of a call. Help?

    If the phone software is five years old, it may be an older Bluetooth protocol version that has trouble with new Toyota software.

    Is there a way to find out if the phone is the problem, or the car? My phone is only a year old.

    I would suggest pairing it with another phone (friend, significant other, etc) and see if it works. If it does it's your phone, if it doesn't it might be the car.
