    I fully support the sentiment of the OP. Our cars may be dependable because they are well designed and or the assembly process is well prepared. But workers could mess it up if they were not careful.

    The bottom line is that Toyota workers consistently make good cars at least most of the time which is VERY good.

    I just got a note from the new owner of my '06 Prius who said he is enjoying it and "it is like a new car!". I just do not see "beat up looking" Prius cars driving around.

  5. Two pluses here, not only was the couple elated on purchasing my 2005, but, one of the couple has become a much better driver. Such a magical influence the Prius has had !
