I saw my twin (blizzard pearl) in the work parking lot today (Trillium Woodland Hills) with Keyes paper plates.
Didn't see any PIPs today but I did see a BMW Active-e on my way to Centrury City Shopping Center. The Public charging there was empty except for 1 Coda Sedan (there are usually 3 parked there). On the way home I spotted a Leaf and one of the Smith Electric vehicle delivery vans used by Staples. Noel
Followed a silver in the HOV lane today, @ 4:15 pm, s/b I-405 near Costa Mesa. Last three on the plate: 399. Tried to make eye contact to wave when he exited the lane, but no luck.
An excellent sighting this morning... While driving my Blizzard Pearl with its Carson Toyota plate here in Northern California, I saw ANOTHER Blizzard Pearl PiP with Carson Toyota plates! I pulled out of the commuter lane and drove in front of him until he recognized me, then I waved back, got back into the commuter lane, and sped off. I'm sure he's thinking about getting the green stickers.
Saw a Clearwater Blue Advanced on Red Hill today (near the 5 freeway). It was new (Penske Toyota plates) and pulling into a Shell gas station.
I saw my first one in the wild today. Canyonlands national park. I didn't see the plate, but it was a blue plug- in. The wife said to me, "I told you that you don't have the only one in the Utah"
This morning around 8am in OB driving down Sunset Cliffs crossing Voltaire. I was in the Jack in the Box taking a break after fishing since 5am...forgot the dang color though
Unless it was a traveller, it was someone in the Oakland area... I may know who! But, it may also have been the spouse of one of my buyers... was it an advanced? If it was, I think it was someone in particular..... I'll email and ask if he recalls the experience. He has his plate #'s so he is on his way to stickers! Soon!!
White one (Blizzard Pearl?) driving uphill on Scripps Ranch Blvd. around 4:15ish...saw the LED's and looked closer and saw what looked like the HOV stickers on it. I was driving downhill and couldn't get a closer look. otherwise I would've waved. EDIT: O and it also had dealer plates from what I could tell, white with red writing
Yep, but just mine so far..haha I work not too far from you, in Carlsbad but live in Laguna so I'm on the 5 a lot lol...a bit too much. lol
Yup. Intentionally placed on glass instead of paint. It's the big sticker too (the one that's supposed to be on the side of the car). I'm only running 2 stickers - 1 big on the back, 1 small on the windshield).
Saw my third one "in the wild", (IOW nobody I know) a Blizzard Pearl at Costco in Simi around 10:15 am today.
