C0700 Code

    I was playing with my obd reader today and came across 2 pending codes both C0700, can anyone through any light on what they might mean?

    That's not a valid code for North American models.

    Most generic OBD code readers cannot read C (chassis) codes.

    Thanks for the reply. I am using a cheap ELM327 device and EasyOBDII software, it shows the 2codes (C0700) as pending on a UK spec vehicle.

    I got the same pending code C0700. Saw elsewhere " it indicates the Left Front Solenoid circuit malfunction ..related to brakes but not specific which solenoid it is ..ABS or ESC...." ww dot fiestafaction dot com/forums/fiesta-service-bay/32349-pending-obd-ii-dtc-code dot html .. of course a Fiesta, but???
    Using a generic reader/PC and software. If I learn more I'll post.

    same errors in my OBDii read-out on 2004 Prius. I don't know why

    I've got C0300 and C0700 can't figure out what's the issue for the life of me.

    The problem is in a faulty code reader.
    Use certified equipment and there will be no "ghost" codes
