This afternoon, I picked up my new plug in, base package, clearwater blue metallic During the time I had changed my mind quite often and test drove other cars, in hopes of getting something different. Today I can say, that I am very pleased with the decision to purchase!
Awesome!!! CHARGE!!!! By the way, the cap that fits on your charger has grooves on it, so you clip it to the cable while charging and it won't scuff the paint.
Wow, one week with my new plug in, and I am extremely happy that I made the purchase. My stats are not complete, as I don't know how to calculate the electricity- for my first week, all I know is that I charged 7 times at home (Unknown amount of k/wh). At work I charged about 3 times (Unknown k/wh). Finally, I completed 6 free charging sessions at the Charge Point Stations which totaled 12.821 k/wh. My Known Stats for first week: 327 total miles driven 103 MPGe 47% EV 53% HV Fuel Saved by Charge = approx 3.6 g :cheer2: PS - thanks Rebound for the helpful tip about the cap to the charger.
I also picked up my Blue metallic on the 30th. Of April. MPGe for the week is 175, best EV was 12.2 = 21 Mile range, both coming and going.
Wow, that is great :cheer2: On Wednesday morning, when I had only 44 miles on my plug in. I had an overall MPGe of 202 - but that was short lived, because it was long driving day, and couldn't charge up until late evening . . .
Trips will bring the average Mpg down, the key is to charge every day, even several times a day, when possible, always drive in EV, except on the freeway, if going 62 Mph + Interestingly, my total EV range of 21 miles, about 10 miles of that was freeway doing 55 MPHr.
