Does anyone know if sea glass green will be offered on the '13 V? My wife and I love that color and to be honest it's the only thing keeping us from getting one.
No love for the regular 2012 Prius in Sea Glass Pearl then? That's my chosen color, too, in a Prius with trim package four. But if Clearwater Blue was an option I'd be all over that.
I owned a green car once, and once is enough. In a few years you will be thinking why did I buy a green car?
Reasoning? For me, I live on an acreage. I think pale green would blend well. B'sides, sea foam green (which is sort of close to the sea glass pearl in the right light) is one of my favorite colors. Now, pale lilac is also one of my favorite colors, but I'd never consider buying that on a car!
i just picked up my 2012 V five on the 26th, it's clear sky met. i just noticed on the papers it says sea glass. i have to call them and make sure it's not going to be on the reg. two months ago, i spotted a 2012 prius v five in inventory on the website of a dealer in raleigh that had a color of sea glass, i called him wanting to know the real color and he swore up and down it was sea glass, i told him that it couldn't be a v, cause they don't make that color in that car. i decided not to travel the 100 miles to find out i was right.
I just bought my wife a Prius 3 HB with Solar Roof in the Sea Glass Pearl, and I can't believe how cool it looks. I've never been much into car colors, but lately I've seen many new colors of cars on the roads. I am kind of enjoying seeing more than the usual blacks, grays, and whites. To me, this color is beautiful. I'm ordering a V 5 in the Blue Ribbon Metallic.
Sea glass grean . . . . eh? I guess no one liked the name "Pine Mica" then. I'd be hard pressed to tell the difference . . . . but it looks like a case of what's old is now new: I think they stopped offering up pine mica (or silver pine mica) around 2009 ... mainly because it wasn't popular. But I thought it was ok. .
Sea Glass Pearl doesn't look like Silver Pine Mica. It's more like if Silver Pine Mica and Tideland Pearl got married, this is what their kids would look like. Except it's slightly bluer than either.
I love this sea glass color. It would look good on the wagon but I also think it would be mistaken for the clear sky color at times. If they go green, they will need a striking green color to keep from having two colors so close to one another. BUT - -let's just say Spruce mica would be a problem (yuk) .. it's like avocado metallic... so perhaps we need to come up with a classier green just for the wagons!
Silver Pine Mica is waaay lighter than Sea Glass Pearl (which has a deeper green colour). I'm having a hard time thinking of which green would look good on a Prius v. I thought Cypress Pearl or maybe Black Forest Pearl from the RAV4 (it's a darker green).
