Just wondering if anyone knows for sure if the 2010 tail lights (I think those are non-LED) will fit on a 2012 PiP? My buddy that works at TMS says he thinks they will (since the car body is the same for those model years), but isn't 100% certain. Thus, I was wondering if anyone out there has tried this.

Given that the Valenti lights fit both the 2010-11 and 2012, it follows that the 2010-11 OEM lights will fit the 2012.

    Excellent deduction. Thank you.

Do you happen to know if Valenti sells matching 3rd tail lights (the one that goes in the spoiler thingy)?

They do sell 3rd brake lights but not one that fits the Prius so I wrapped mine in red vinyl.

That's a bummer. We're you happy with the way the vinyl wrapping turned out?

I think so. As is, it looks good. But tinting the 3rd light would complete the look you're going for IMO.

I would. That's what I plan on doing with mine.

Yes, they will fit. I have a 2012 & the valenti taillights fit on mine.

FYI: all Prius's expect the gen1 have LED taillights.

More accurately, half-LED as the reverse and turn signals aren't LEDs, unlike the full LED Valenti tails.

Hence why I didn't say "full LED" :D

Yep, looks better. I'm of the opinion that 3rd brake light should match the tails, although manufacturers certainly don't always follow this rule (as I've seen clear 3rd brake light with red tails and even vice versa!).
