c foglights

have you gotten the price list for everything yet? very anxious to your answer

 

i found the light assembly in the parts system... but can't find the black plastic housing..

anyone have the part number on hand? i might have to dig a little more..

Looking around in google it seems like those foglights are also used in a Lexus, so there maybe an aftermarket version out there. The problem is which Lexus model

Here is the part #for the stalk 84140-47161 and this one doesnt have autolights just drl option and fogs hope this also help. retail is around $117. u also have to take off the steering wheel for install,looking at maybe taking it apart so i dont have to.ill keep everyone informed.

 

Damn!! You said I could have fogs for 312$ in the USA... and 950$ here in Canada???

just f.y.i. I installed my new stalk on fri (been a buzy weekend) and the part # i gave is correct .You do have to take the air bag out and the streering wheel off.wasnt as bad as i thought but if you dont mess with this stuff for a living it can be a little scary, ill see if i can download instuctions for you guys.

Had a c-2 in the shop yesterday forgot to mention that all the wiring is in them also now i just need to see a c-1 and ill let everyone know put its so hard as soon as we get one its gone the next day.thats what i call a hot car.....

 

Glad to know my 2 has the wiring. I looked from a limited view under the hood and couldn't see the connector. I assumed the wiring wasn't there, Did you have to add a relay? I added fogs to my Yaris and had to find a relay to use some of the existing wiring.

 

i did some though and i think the lexus in question is the CT200h

 

I took these photos when I had the bumper off and might be helpful. I have 3 and as you can see it does have plug in's for the fog lights, the are nicely wrapped up. The fog light plug in a in red the yellow are the turn signals.

I was blacking out the center portion of the bumper was realy easy once removed. Thought I would get some pictures and yes there is enough wiring the fog lamp wires are kinda budled up and held by a piece of tape. Just remove the tape and wires should be long enough to reach.

 

yay! another Hitler-stache! lol.. jk. yup.. it's a lot easier with the grilles out, which you need to remove the bumper to get the top one off.

 

the blacked out bumper makes the car look more like me with my goatee, well atleast acording to my boss. And thats why I like it.

 

hahaha.. yeah.. i had wondered about those connectors for a while too before i finally did my vinyl wrap and took my front bumper off.

though.. right now, i think i might just get the new stalk for now to get the factory fog switch..

and perhaps wait a little bit for some aftermarket fogs made for the C.. if no one comes out with anything in the next few months... i'll just fall-back and get the factory fogs.

the front bumper is gonna be taken on and off quite a bit this summer i think.

 

No sir u have to go from underneath the front bumper and the plugs are taped to the turn signal wires.Other than the things i listed earler u don't need a relay everything else is pre installed. sorry guys didnt see page 4 newbie mastake.

I will wait for aftermarket one. I wan to have the Halo foglight. it looks cool.
