Just got confirmation our new Prius C in Aqua will be in my driveway next Thursday! I am in Australia so we only have 2 models - base and iTech. Just getting the base. Any other Aus owners or soon to be owners out there?
Can't wait to get it, considering petrol is currently $1.55/l here (approx $5.80/gal). Will report back on oil once I get ahold of the owners manual. We are actually going to be using our C as a family car. I have 2 girls (7 months, and 2 1/2 yo). Going to be tight but it will be perfect for the driving we do.
Yes it will be tight, but doable. We can get 2 kids and an infant seat in the back of the C. It is a bit tight, but not so bad when they are small Congrats!
Well she finally arrived. What a great little car. So many little tech toys too! This is my first car with a reversing camera, and it makes putting it in the garage Sooo much easier!
Reverse camera? very nice! I don't understand why car companies put features in cars for other countries but not here in the us. Take our 2009 KIA Borrego great SUV in other parts of the world the car came with diesel engines and even headlight washers! Just makes me so mad lol. lol sorry for the rant congrats!
Yeah reversing cameras are standard across the range here. We also only have two models, Prius C and Prius c iTech. ITech gets the fake leather seats, 16" alloy rims (instead of 15" steel with hub caps" plus it has sat nav and a larger spoiler. Oh and the led headlights. Both models have the 6.5" toxin screen With Bluetooth etc.
Congrats on the car! Was in your area a couple years. Stayed in Surry Hills. Spent some time up in the blue mountains.
One thing in the US diesel is more expensive then gas, but also not as available, i dont even know where to get gas, but that would be nice to have a back up camera im getting a 3 and no models come with that in the US. Congrats on the Car, I saw a yahoo post about gas prices in the world and one European country is like 10 bucks a gallon but a south american country is like 15 cents a gallon it is nice to be on the low end to 1st world country's even for gas that cheap i would not want to live there haha.
