hi ive got an iphone 3g and a Prius with the Sat Nav, i saw a clip on you tube about a year ago with some guy playing music from his iphone via Bluetooth. Ive tried to do this and it doesn't, the phone is BT synced with the car for the handsfree phone but in the audio tab one called "BT" is grayed out im assuming thats the one i need its next to the "Aux" tab. I don't know if they guy was using some third party software or something does anyone know if it can be done? Thanks Adrian
After some quick googling, I confirmed bluetooth audio streaming works with the 3G iPhone. You have to go into the Bluetooth settings and set up your iPhone as an audio device, in addition to the phone setup you've already done. If you run into problems, delete your phone setup and install as an audio device first. Some people also find it helps to change the car's 4-number bluetooth passwords to be the same for both the phone and the audio device.

A friend paired his iPhone 4 with my car, for both phone & music player BT streaming. In the nav system, you need to pair the the phone for BT and also the music player for BT.

Suddenly my iphone4s does not sync correctly with my Prius (2009). The navigation screen says I am connected, yet when I make a call when I am in the car (either using the phone keypad or the navigation keypad), nothing goes through the car speaker. When a call comes in, it does not ring through the car speaker right away, only the phone. It will then ring through the speaker once and then "call terminated by network" appears on the navigation screen. I then hear a beep on my phone indicating the call was going to voice mail.
