Well, I couldn't resist the advertised 53mpg city which is where most of my driving take place. So today I drove 117 miles to the only dealership which had the car in "Moonglow" although here for some reason it's marketed as Lime White. Here in PR we don't have the four variants of the C. It's either the basic(one),mid level which is the "two" but adds the 15" alloy wheels, and last but not least the Top of the Line (four) with all options... So far very impressed with the MPG obtained as my other two vehicles are not too good in that department(2005 Honda Oddssey +/- 19mpg, 2005 Mitsubishi Evolution w/ 657hp so forget about its MPG!). Looking forward to learning how to drive the "thing" efficiently.
Congrats PR! da-am that is alotta HP! Yes, you will see a difference! Either way, congrats and hope you enjoy! Yes, most places you cannot get all models (1-4) or at least around my neck of the woods and from what I have been reading. I have also noticed that the gen 3 prius lists the colors differently in each of the models i.e winter grey vrs metallic grey etc.
Due to some unforeseen family circumstances, I had to travel to Puerto Rico last week. At first I was surprised by how well received the Prius C has been. It is everywhere, on a trip from San Juan to Aguada I saw at least 8 different Prius C. I quickly realized that it is the perfect car for Puerto Rico. The size is spot on and the fuel economy is perfect. Gas prices are high in Puerto Rico and parking spots are not very big. Toyota is one if not the most trusted brand in Puerto Rico. The Yaris and Corolla being some of the top selling models in the whole island. With the introduction of the Prius C, Toyota brought to Puerto Rico a car that fits the needs of many consumers perfectly. It also helps that like it was mentioned already, you get a tax break from Hacienda.
