"XLR8" app for iOS and Android

    This is hilarious. I bought this app for my iPhone, and then hooked it into my speakers and rolled the windows down as I drove around DC. The accelerometer works well with this and the car sound sped up, changed gears, burned rubber, and downshifted as I drove. Totally hilarious. Okay, I am easily amused. BUT, not one blind pedestrian stepped out in front of me while I was driving. The idle on the Camaro sounds like a 65 427 cammer (Ford, okay.) It works just like in the video. PLUS you can hit the rev button and spin it up into the red line while you are waiting at a light. Now that is what I call a noise maker.

    I think my mpg went down to 8, though.

    XLR8 owes you a comission as I just bought the APP. My 11 year old and I love it. We're driving the Prius to town today and will definitely test it out with the stereo cranked and the windows down :D

    If they made that sound effect in an app that functions the same way, I would be all over that like a cheap suit. Hee-lar-ee-ous as well.
