I notice that I always tend to buy the quirky Japanese cars that are made in Japan. I have progressed from a 2002 Toyota echo manual which averaged high 30's in town and up to mid 40's on the highway, then i traded that for the Scion xb when it initially came out, then I bought the yaris sedan when it first arrived but after seeing the Honda Fit come out a month later i wished i had waited. So about a year later bought a 2007 Fit, then upgraded to a 2010 Honda Fit sport, and here I am now with my Prius c. I loved each and every one of these cars with my least favorite being the Yaris. My Fits, Echo, and Prius c all hold that special place in my heart though lol!! Wish I could have one of each haha!! So I'm curious about some of your car histories out there, please share with us.
I don't own it but I sure would like to drive it! I saw it in Monterey at the Hyatt. Nissan GT-R  Competes well with the Z06; my personal favorite
the thing that was so cool way back then was that there had never been a cool looking, good performing, inexpensive sports car, especially japanese. when i saw my first one, i thought it was a ferrari or something. so, i went to my local datsun dealer, in daytona and bought the one off the show room floor, i thought i was the coolest dude on the planet. rod stuart was playing in the background. almost 20 years later a bought another one which drove fro 156 thousnad miles. fabulous car for its time
That's awesome!! My Mom had an old yellow Datsun that she loved when I was younger but I can't remember which model. You can play Rod Stewart on CD now in your C and get that feeling all over again
ha ha, very funny, my friend. i am taking "shorty" to visit daytona next month when i will give a detailed review of the car for mileage and performance report as i get sunburned sitting on the beach, drinking adult beverages, meeting mature women and have a reunion with my best childhood friend and his wife
I owned one, too, when I was a poor college student. Great car.... once the warped cylinder head was fixed. :thumb:
Ha ha! I have to say that the lfa has some seriously sweet exhaust notes. Those throttle blips are sublime! Of the more unusual due to the smaller quantity sold/on the street in the US I've had a first gen MR2, a couple MR2 Spyders and I currently have a second gen S2000. ron
