I like that. Sorry for the double post. I was trying to post on both Fuelly threads cause I'm just so proud of my new Fuelly banner.

What is even better is after your third fill-up when you get posted on the Fuelly wall!

I have an account on Fuelly ... BUT anyone knows how to account for the difference of the SUM of mileage per tank and what the odometer says ...

This is a real drawback .... I have over 35000 miles and about 32 mile btw the fuelly sum and the real odometer .... (75 fillup) no this is not the first tank.... issue

My own spreadsheet always compute the all time average by using the "current" odometer mile and adds up the tanks (not adding up the sub-distances). Anyone with little math can tell you the average error is 1/10 of a mile on each reading but it seems it does NOT average out .... but growing ...

Any suggestion?? Anyone noticed this ???

I zero out the Trip A ... for the tank...

My theory is that Trip A only turns at 12.59999 so I am throwing out 0.05 on average which correspond with the error .... :) so Fuelly is out of sync everytime I add a tank ....

Just started using Fuelly. 1st tank with 2012. I drive only in power mode.
Dash shows 47.6, off by almost 3 mpg.

Think you have to at least one fill-up, and three to be listed on the Fuelly site.

Highway trip with Thule Raceway Plaform rack

Did a weekend road trip to Rehoboth Beach DE from Reston VA hauling two bikes on the Thule Platform rack. End result, 50.2mpg (see details here: The Grey Ghost (Toyota Prius) | Fuelly

Not too shabby IMHO, I am sure the extra hundred pounds hanging off the rear lid and the bikes cut down the mpg pretty good.

You can add the banner without a fuel-up. Copy this into your signature (remove spaces from IMG tags):

    [ IMG ]http://www.fuelly.com/sig-us/livegen/CAR_ID.png[ /IMG ]

Replace CAR_ID with your fuelly car ID. To find it, go to your fuelly car stats page. Click on Add a fuel-up. The address of your browser will end with car=NNNNNN. The NNNNNN is your car ID. Plug that into your signature and save.

No problemo! Here's an improved version that will link to your stats page when you click on it (again remove tag spaces):
