    At the moment I have about 9 Bay Area members signed up, vs 4 Norcal. So, I am thinking about having the meet location be in the San Jose area since that is where the bulk of the sign-ups will be.

    I will leave the survey open until Fri.

    I just wanted to throw out there that last year a friend of ours had us go to an even in the Willow Glen area out there in San Jose. It was really neat. I don't know where in San Jose you want to get together but I thought I would suggest it.

    If it's on a day I don't have anything planned, I'd really try to show up. Never done anything like it before. What do you guys do besides swap gas mileage stories? :)

    Thanks for setting this up. I need to check out my son's baseball schedule(s) (he's on multiple teams) to see which weekend's look free.

    If you haven't fully settled on a venue, how about Campo Di Bocce in either Los Gatos or Livermore? Italian food and bocce ball, of course, given the amount of rain we've been getting recently, it may end up being underwater bocce ball....

    Thanks for organizing! I'm surprised we've got that many respondents. Every time I've tried to meet folks at Prius test drive events, cars shows or something along those lines, it's been tough to even get a response.

    The closest thing to a success was GDE last year.
    I live in south San Jose so I think making it in Santa Cruz would make it really far for some folks.

    I'm willing to meet some place further north that has decent, free parking (e.g. Milpitas, Fremont, Peninsula, Mountain View, Union City, etc.; rules out most of SF). It's even better if it's close to a highway.

    I don't think parking is that plentiful at Campo Di Bocce in Los Gatos. Personally, I'd rather have time to talk to people and show each other things rather than be distracted by a game/gaming.

    I like the idea of a restaurant, but would prefer a place with a large parking lot so that we can get all park in the same area. At previous meets, it is common for the attendees to hang around the parking lot for a while and to check out the other cars.

    I am going to leave the doodle open for a couple more hours, but right now the only place I have in mind is Dave & Busters in Milipitas since the parking lot is huge there.

    Ahh... I looked that place up and I guess it's the one at the Great Mall in Milpitas? Yeah, the parking lots there are HUGE.

    There are obviously a bunch of restaurants at the Great Mall and the food court too.

    Hopefully we can have some Prius c, PiP and CAN-view representation. I have yet to see a c and CAN-view in person.

    We used to meet at D&B for our huge F-Body get togethers. It's a good spot and not too far for Sacto people.

    The other spot was a large parking lot with a Starbucks and McCarthy Ranch in Milpitas.
