I caught an older Halloween episode of "The Simpsons" last night where they were spoofing the movie "Twilight". Imagine my laughter when the teen vampire's father hops into his Prius and shows Homer one of the benefits to being a creature of the night; driving on empty streets and timing all the lights perfectly! haha! I couldn't figure out why they used a Prius until I did a quick google search & discovered that the Matt Groening, series creator, drives one. I've also seen a few southpark episodes with a Prius, but I can't remember them. Time for a Netflick's search! What other movies or TV shows have you seen that feature guest appearances by a Prius?
The movie, "The Other Guys", has a red gen II prius in a "staring" role. Initially it's the butt of the jokes but ends up being somewhat of a hero at the end.
