Will You keep Driving Your Pri, after winning Mega Million Today ?

I'd keep it - for the help

 

I am not going to win as I never buy tickets, but yes if I won I would negotiate with the IRS to give it all to them, then never pay taxes again. And go on with life in my Prius.

 

I would continue to drive my Prius so others would not think the win had changed me...little would they know that the real me was using the Prius long enough to get out of their sight and then jump into the stretch limo waiting around the corner...

 

I'll have my chauffeur drive me around in it, and I'll pay some guy who's really an expert to fix the rattles.

 

I would keep it but it might have a new Tesla friend in the garage.

 

While your Chauffeur drives you around you can find the rattles and stick little pieces of velcro and suede fabric in the nooks and crannies eventually stopping all of them. Oh wait, I guess you can just buy a CT200. :rockon:

 

Not everyone gets the Prius just to save on gas money. Some do it for environmental reasons, etc.

 

That level of wealth changes the parameters of car ownership.

You no longer have to think about it in terms of owning one or two vehicles. So sure keep your Prius...your Ferrari, Your Bentley...at that level of wealth? You can buy a different car for every day of the week.

If I win? The Prius is my Monday Car...I think after the weekend I'll appreciate the quiet.

 

Definitely keep the Prius. Also get a Tesla Roadster for 95%+ of the drives. But I don't buy tickets, so my chance of winning is only slightly lower than someone who did buy one...

 

Absolutely. I'll have to get groceries to my new zero-emission sailboat somehow.

 

I'd like to think no. What good is all that money is you still need a car ?

I don't even know where you buy lottery tickets lol. Is there some special store somewhere? That's a lot of money thrown down the tubes. At least in my region some of the proceeds go to the state parks and things like that.

Even if I was suddenly obscenely wealthy, I can't imagine I wouldn't want and enjoy a vehicle. Maybe in the confines of Prius Chat it isn't wise to admit, but I enjoy driving. I wouldn't give that up if I was wealthy.

And as far as the wisdom of a lottery ticket purchase?

Sure it's an absolutely ridiculous investment or waste of time. You can tell me how my chances of winning are the same as being struck by lightening, while holding a leprechaun, as I ride with Big Foot on the back of Nessy.

But somebody has to win it. And if I don't buy a ticket, it surely won't be me. As long as I'm not investing money into the dream that in any way cuts into survival? I think $2.00 is a good sacrifice for the momentary ability to believe in sudden wealth based transformation of circumstance.

I'll wait until the results are in before I start spending my winnings.

I've got my dream car, why change it when I have money.

 

I'd buy 50 Prius' and give one to everyone on my street with the understadning that they all get behind me on every Home Owners Association vote. NOT!
