OH NO ... not another nitrogen thread. As a quick fyi (though stated time & time again in the other threads), Nitrogen is nearly 80% of our atmosphere ... so in essence they filter out the other 20+% (oxygen, CO2 etc). It's one thing to super purify your tire's compressed gas if the tires are on a 200mph race car ... or on a 747 ... but a 65mph daily commuter. C'mon now. Let's not beat this dead horse again. :deadhorse:
The only reason nitrogen might improve MPGs is if it causes the tire pressures to be checked more often. Cut to the chase: spend $8 on a tire gauge and check them yourself at least once a month.
