I just got my new Prius C last night and this morning signed up for Entune. However, the only apps appearing are Bing and Pandora. Does anyone know why OpenTable.com, MovieTickets.com, iHeartRadio, etc. aren't there? They are all advertised. The Entune website doesn't have any FAQ page. Does anyone have more luck with this?
Do you think that someday we can add our own apps? I bought my Prius C-III a few days ago, its my first Toyota, and mine didn't have the iheartradio (I wouldn't use it anyhow) or the other apps mentioned. I would like to use tunein actually History: I was a Honda Civic Hybrid driver since 2006
Is anyone having luck with getting their Text Messages or Emails to display? I am using a Samsung Galaxy Nexus and not getting any results. Pretty unsettling when considering that this is currently Verizon's most advanced phone...
Same problem. IPhone 4S is not compatible, making Entunes worthless except for playing yr music library.
I have asked Toyota directly about the Iphone 4 and 4S bluetooth internet issue (instead of only using entune tethered via usb) as well as when the additional apps update will be out and I have received no response.... Hard to believe with tens of millions of people with Iphones that it was made not compatible....but it is possible it is not a Toyota issue....but rather an Apple issue....in which case we Entune Iphone 4 users are out of luck for the foreseeable future.... -M
If your phone doesn't support MAP, you can't access EMail or Messages. In that case it's the phones problem.
It's a Bluetooth protocol, one of several. Stands for Message Access Profile. It's the protocol used to transfer messages from the phone to the car. Not many phones support it yet, mainly Blackberry and some Android phones. Apple has yet to support it.
I just got my Prius C4 and am stuck with the same question I am hoping there will be an update, otherwise I think there will be a lot of disenchanted C owners.
I believe open table, iheartradio and movietickets.com apps are available on the Prius V only. For now. In regards to using your iPhone to access the internet with your vehicle, it needs to be tethered with the USB cord and the Entune app has to be running on your phone. UNLESS, you have signed up with your carrier to have the 'wireless hotspot' feature enabled with your subscription. In that case, you may enable wireless hotspot on your iPhone and have your vehicle access the internet wirelessly.
I have an iPhone 3GS. It doesn't work tethered or untethered with Entune running. I am able to run Pandora from the phone app, my own music from the playlist, but no luck with running the car based apps. I continually get "failure to connect to the Internet". The Toyota dealer said that Toyota is aware of the problem with series 4 iPhones. If anyone is successfully running their iPhone 3GS, please let me know how you got it to cooperate.

I apologize for the redundant posts. Thank you Whipper for the information about Entune and having the cell phone linked, when I did this it worked. I'm stoked. I just got home from a 220 mile trip, so I messed around with it, and now it works. Woohoo!!!
Warning... I am on the iPhone developer program and have down loaded iOS 6 Beta 1 to my phone. Internet tethering via has stopped working. When i connect the usb cable i don't get any message on the radio. Blue tooth still work for audio, but no Bing and internet. I guess we will have to wait for the final release and a new Entune App. Does any one if there is an upgrade available , or how you would do an upgrade or reset ? Update: Loaded iOS Beta 2, on my 4S, functionality returned.
