Hey guys, I bought my 2010 Prius on February 11th and couldnt wait to start work on it. Never been a fan of red, but I let my kids pick the color this time. Turns out I love it now!

February 11...my blue '09 Si I traded next to it

Also just finished installing audio/video setup...double-din DVD, rear view camera, flip down ceiling monitor for the kids, replaced all door speakers with Pioneer, also 2 Eclipse 12's, all of which are powered by a 4-channel Eclipse amp.

I'm not a fan of white wheels on a red car but your car looks great! That front angle shot is sweet! Nice work. :)

I didn't want red when I bought my 2005 in 2005 but it was the only car available in my area and I didn't want to get on the dreaded waiting list. I grew to love the color like you did.

Thanks! Yeah, I've never been a fan of white wheels at all. Im usually a gunmetal kind of guy lol. But the gunmetal and blacks are so common now So I thought I'd step outside my comfort zone this time.

I understand your modding bug now, u just came from a Honda SI, LOL. I used to love & had some of the SI's & Acura's(Integras & RSX's) in the past. I guess that nostalgia never quite goes away, which is why I'm modding a prius:D.

Very nice, great job! Now about your speakers and amp... what models and where did you stash the amp?

ditto w/ F8L in normally not being a fan of white wheels but, in some respects, I can't tell if it is white or light silver which is a total compliment to how well u blended w/ the color of the car:).

You got me lol. I've always been a serious modder. Maybe I can share pics of other previous rides. I netted 3 tickets in 2 years with the Si, and I cringed every time I paid for Premium fuel lol

Thank you! I went with Pioneer TS-A series factory sizes, can't remember the Eclipse 12" model but they are dvc's. The Eclipse amp is a PA5422 and it's under the passenger front seat.

I forgot to comment on the drop. It is exactly what I would want if I were to lower my GenIII. The gaps and stance are perfect.

With the type/size of rims you have on - do you ever rub on bumps? Noticed any difference with your mpg? Also, can u take a picture & post your flip down monitor set up? I, too would like to do that for my kids when we go on them long trips:) Thanks!

Pretty amazing how much springs and wheels can transform a car. Please share your previous cars and interior mods as well!

I agree, it takes on a whole new look with a few mods. As requested, here are a few pics of my previous rides, all of which were stock vehicles when acquired....

Very nice indeed. Did you measure the drop from the springs? Or are those coilovers? From the photos, looks like 1.25" drop as your sits slightly lower than mine. I would like to have mine lowerer another quarter inch. Cannot go much further without meeting up with rub central.

What is your rim width and offset values?

What are the wheel specs for the Advan Kruezer V, 18x7.5 with a +35 or +50 offset?

Thought I would share the updated look of my car now. Next month will be one year of owning it! I decided to "darken" everything up a bit. Blacked out all the emblems, etc, and reprinted my wheels. The wheels are actually a custom gray color, but they always look black in pics.
