Just bought a v 5, have three questions.

    I just bought a v 5 without ATP. First time Toyota owner but have been loving the Prius so far. I have three question on the car.

    1. I saw other people saying that their entune software version is 1.8.4, while mine is 1.7.4. Is this software upgrade free at dealers?

    2. I have some mp3 with tags in foreign language. They show up as either ??? or empty rows on the display. Does entune support foreign languages, or do I need to edit the tag somehow to make them appear correctly?

    3. The sun visor is too short and it does not extend. I saw other people complaining about this too. Is there something that I can buy to fix it?

    Welcome aboard! There are extenders for the sun visors that can be found on ebay, amazon, etc. Don't know about the other two...

    The dealer will up date your entune system to 1.8.4 you can either wait for your first service or call them.

    The entune supposed to support UTF8, if your tags are in UTF8 format they should work. Look at a tag editor on your Mac or Windows box and it should tell you or let you save them out as UTF8

    1 yes and done in a half hour.
    2. No idea.

    Guys thanks for the replies. I will try to get the entune software upgraded on Saturday. For the mp3 tag, I downloaded mp3tag v2.50, tried both ID3v2.4 UTF-8 and ID3v2.3 UTF-16, but still can't get the song names displayed correctly. I hope the software upgrade fixes it. I'll try to find a good sun visor extender somewhere. Very disappointed at Toyota for this. I never had this issue with my previous cars.
