    I found a couple YouTube videos of cars being loaded that I posted in this thread early on (not Toyotas, sorry). The 2nd video is of some guy driving up the various levels of the ship. Its like a parking structure on water

    My PIP was built on 2/26, its headed to Benicia since I'm in NorCal. Is it safe to say that it'll be loaded on the Pyxis. I don't think there was a boat between now and 2/26 headed here.

    Mine also built on 2/26, and I'm also hoping for a west coast trip from Pyxis. Looks like we just missed the Heijin which left the 2/28 I believe.

    Looks like they are loading the ships used for local JDM service. I've seen 5 so far. Some carry the same number of cars as the ships they send to the US. No update for the Pyxis yet.

    Mine was shipped on the 27th. I'm assuming it's on the New Century 1 since it shows being off the coast of Japan heading for Panama.

    James, how did you get the detail? My PIP is on Heijin (with Dianne's, I think), which left Japan on 2/26-27. Current info says out of range?

    Click on the HEIJIN link and you will see the above info.
    HEIJIN sched to arrive in Benicia 1 pm local on the 11th (UTC -8)
    EMINENT ACE got to Long Beach 3 days 6hrs after it arrived in Benicia, if that's any help.
    If that sched. holds true, HEIJIN will get to LGB at 7 pm local on the 14th.

    [Update]: We change to Daylight Savings Time on the 11th, so add an hour to the above local times for PDT.

    Hi RiverRat,

    Looks like our cars were built just three days apart. Mine was built 2/23 (order # 272). No news yet from Toyota on whether my car has actually been shipped yet or not, but it should have been by now. My dealer tried checking on the assigned ship, but it only shows the place holder "TMC Japan". So, I'm still trying to divine which ship is carrying it across the Pacific.

    Are you sure your car missed the Heijin?

    How did you receive your ship date? Although my PiP was built 2/23, I have not received any official confirmation that it was shipped.
