If anyone is interested in some pics, i posted some of our car to the link below. it's a Advanced Package, Sea Glass Pearl with Door mouldings and regular, carpeted floor mats. Sorry for the less than ideal backgrounds, too lazy to drive to the park. Enjoy. -Mark https://picasaweb.google.com/107910...authkey=Gv1sRgCObZybXC35iO7QE&feat=directlink
Thanks ! Cant wait till I can buy one. And now we know were you live Great pictures though. Would have been cool to see it plugged in. And HUD display. Next time. Thanks
Thanks, Ely105 for sharing these pictures and congrats. When you take pictures of the lit instrument dashboard at night, please don't forget to add to the album. Thanks!
My wife said the same thing when we picked it up. I think its a chameleon color. Sometimes green, sometimes blue. Seems to depend on the light, and the color balance on your camera.
The 'Clearwater Blue Metalica' also appears to be a chameleon color: Sonetimes 'blue' and sometimes 'silver'.
To be honest, after I've thought about it more, your style of pictures should be used by Toyota in their sales web-site. There are a lot more pictures than what Toyota shows and the quantity, that show every last detail of the car's features, does a good job of selling the car's well thought out approach. Good work!!!
Thanks iRun! I too was a little disappointed with the pics that they had on the Prius Site. It's not that difficult to do and would really help those of us that like to see all the details. I even used a compact camera to snap the pics.
The Critic and I were at Carson Toyota today and the place was crawling with PIPs. Most were white or grey. It's so cool to see them on dealer lots now. Rogerv was there to check his new PIP out. Hopefully you'll get your keys next week.
Fantastic pics, thank you. Is the interior light gray? I seem to remember that they were going to be dark gray, almost black. (This would be good news, I actually prefer the lighter color) The Sea Glass is a very pretty color, it does look blue though.
Thanks SDMom, the seats are a medium-dark Grey but not super dark. Those are the 2 tone in the Softex, which is supposed to be lightweight, but i question the durability compared to heavy ol cowskin. It does depend a lot on the lighting - if you look at the picture of the Electrical plug-in door, it's much more green. While others have a more blue cast. When we were out last night and came back to our parked car under flourescent lights, it was definitely green. I look at it as we paid for 1 paint color and got 2 for free!
