I have been looking at installing some caliper covers, but am curious if anyone else has done this. Any issues once installed? I like the idea of these rather than painting because of they can be removed later on if wanted / needed.

I searched the PC threads but didn't see anything specific to caliper covers...

Probably not the greatest pic to show off the covers, but here it is. I had them installed a few months ago, no issues whatsoever.

    Good luck!

I went with paint. My 2010 Prius with 75,000 miles was showing rust on the caliper, the center and end of the discs. I wish I would have take a before pic. Here are the after pics.

I painted the discs black and the calipers silver. They looks factory new now. I do not need red or yellow calipers on a Prius.

I noticed that the covers come in different colors but what is most interesting is controlling the brake dust to keep the wheels looking good. I was going to paint mine but I may have to get these instead. Will they fit on 15" aftermarket wheels? I would hate to have to take them off every winter when the winter wheels & tires get put on.

yes, definitely is help needed to keep the brake dust away. My rims collect them extremely easily. Will they help at all? I was looking at those, but they are pricey and even more so to get them to match. I would want them BP to match the paint. Not interested in the other color options.

Red, silver or black would be okay to me. The silver or black would blend a little better to me but I love red calipers too. :D

My biggest question is if they fit aftermarket 15" wheels. I was going to use my OEM 15" wheels with winter tires but if these work with aftermarket wheels I may get a nicer set for my winter tires too. :D

G2 paint kit is expensive, but probably the best kit out there.... most spray paint kit will flake off after several months.

I've used 3-4 different types of paint kit, and G2 caliper paint kit held up the best.

I've used that kit on many cars over the years. The paint holds up well but it doesn't control brake dust........decisions, decisions, decisions. :(

Here is what the painted calipers look like on my MR2.

If you buy high heat paint like the one in the pic above it will not flake off.

Yes it will flake off over time even ones designed for high temperature purpose (road debris, salt, etc). As I said, I've tried several products including high temp spray paints. :)

    With G2 kit....

With Dupli-color caliper HT spray paint kit, which didn't last more than several months...
