The production line video was great. That's a good way to reveal a new car. A modified version in the U.S. during the Super Bowl would have been a great way to introduce the Prius c.
I’ve been noticing that in many of the hybrid CM’s, Toyota’s been heralding the strengths or “reborn” of the quake stricken tohoku (north-eastern) region with the accomplishment of the Aqua production line in Iwate prefecture, echoing the message of “rebuild Japan” mixed in with a hint of national pride. Nice commercials, or maybe I just brought into their PR mojo…?
With gas prices at their currently level and the Prius c USA launch coming soon, I'm surprised Toyota hasn't aired Prius c commercials all over television. Now would be a great time to get people's interest in a Prius c. Two things could happen between now and the first time the public sees the Prius c on the road: consumers might buy a car from a competitor, or gas prices might go back down. Right now, with gas prices high and people having high interest in saving money on gas, is an excellent time to air Prius c commercials for the maximum impact.
With the high price of gas Toyota doesn't have to advertise, the Prius vehicles will sell themselves. Back a few years ago when gas prices were over $4 per gallon there was not one Prius in the local Toyota dealers lot.
I understand exactly what you mean. I meant put a few Prius c commercials on television so people who don't know it even exists will be informed that it exists.
Word is getting out, my local dealer is getting a lot of orders as gas is 4.23 at Costco ! I bet it's even higher in Southern Ca. Or Hawaii . Everyone wants a Prius V,c, or hatch!
