    dammit!
one cell is up to 3,6 but then drops to 3,5 and 3,45 and keeps dropping.. 3,40... in just 30min
where others stay up far longer
i think i have a bad cell..... OMG now i have to take apart the housing again..... OK i go crazyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

10mv? wow thats low i have 85mv now and below that.
but i also thing those cellogs are not calibrated well
when i measured with a multi meter i get other values

ok finally got a picture up

and have a look at this

yesterday i did a top balance
this is what i get the next morning.. al of the cellogs have cell 7 and 8 higher
    i have 8 8M and 1 8S connected.....
    really strange....

al the wires are the same... and the cellogs came from 3 countrys 5 from NL, 4 From UK and 1 from China/usa/hobbyking 8S

you can see the cell6 of one of the cellogs thats low also the cells did not settle down to 3,4 as i read would happen after just a few min.

i try to do a discharge today using a heater but is still feel a little bit sick from a few days before but lets see its just a lot of waiting so nothing heavy.

    oeps I forget
I have to do the celllog mod
its normal that 7 and 8 ate higher because the cellog is only powered from the first 6 cells.

I am doing a 1000 watt heater disharge now I hope in 3.5 hours the lowest cell is at 2.9 volts and not sooner.

them I have 80% dod and 16ah out if ~20ah

    then do a recharge.

the lowest cell is now 3.219 and high 3.256

    already charging
voltage did not go down to 2.9 but more 3.14 volts lowest and 228 total pack voltage

I have 1,5 hours to go and i have 3500 back into the pack... let's see when voltages are going to rise to a point where I have to stop charge and go to low amps.
50 volts diff at the moment

so 3 hours and 4000watt out of the mains and stil bit full.... are those tc chargers really plus 90% eff?

ok 1 min to soon voltages just started to rise and have to stop and switch between high and low amps
pack is full just balancing now
i stopped charging a few min after this because cells 7 and 8 of all cellogs where up high and the 1-6 where low
after shutdown the lowest voltage i got was 3,38 what is pretty low i thing after a 3 hours charge with a 1500 watt elcon/Tc charger...

    edit
    picture of the cellogs log

when i look at this picture pin 4 and 5 are 12volt for RED charging and i geuss 12volt for green when full
so it can be used to power a external LED so you can see from the outside when you car is charging
maybe a mod like the Hymotion where the brakelight go on when charging and go of when full.

Your charger send 5A maximum. So when charging voltage is 240v power on dc side is 1200w, not 1500 watts.

    when i buy a 1500 watt i want 1500 watt not 1200 ;-)

i discharged with 1000watts in 3 hours and 30 min.
then i pulled 4170 watts out of the mains in 3 hours and 17 min when charging and i am not at the cell voltages i was before i started the discharge.

to me at this point thats a way lower then 90% Eff. of the charger.

Yes!. I was going to tell you it looks like you have not made the Mod to the Celllogs. But I see you figured that out. Here is a picture of all of my Celllogs I took this morning before work, pack about 75% charged. Not good quality, but you can see my cells stay quite balanced without a balance circuit.

Your heater is, I believe, just a resistor. So the amperage during discharging was not constant.
Your voltage begin, I think, near 241 volts. So the heater could be over 1kW during a long time. 1kW must be with 230v. At the opposite voltage decrease at the end of your test and amperage too.
Have you controled the amperage during your test ?

    :)

I have monitored the amps 1019.9 watt at begin and 960 at end

    ok guys
i dont get it with the celllg relay output

the relay output is nothing else then a connection between the MIN pin 1 and the output
so wy are there a black and red wire where you only need to use the red wire?

when the relay is activated the pin 1 MIN is connected to the red wire you then connect this to a relay and the other side of the relay to the plus pin 8 of the cellogs connected cel

or is this really a relay where i can put 12 volt on the black wire and have it connec this to the red wire when its activated? because the wy i read this your then connected that 12 volt to the pin1 of the cellog.?

The CellLog has a transistor output, not a relay output. It can only handle a low current so you need to connect a relay as shown in the CellLog manual.

min cellog to plus celllog in this case a 24 + volt relay right?

i dont understand wy you need to connect the pin 1 to the black wire of the cellog relay output? internal this is already connected.
or is it to UP the amps for the relay output? so this is no longer going tru the small board?

    edit
    add pic
i read that the min is connected to the output so wy a wire around the cellogs?
the pics is 2 cellogs upper with how it can be connected base on the lower part that the min is already connected

The black output wire to pin 1 bypasses the internal ground connection so that the transistor current 500mA (maximum) does not all go though the CellLog. I guess it puts less stress on the cellLog. Considering how small the CellLog is the heat effect of such a small current could make a difference.
