"My Plug-in Prius is now on its way"!

Mine is also headed to Putnam. We're supposed to get the chachis at the time of pickup. Didn't think to ask about that stuff when I had them on the phone.

 

Relax. I ordered at 9:10 AM on the Day of Preorder, and I still don't even have a build month for my car. But it will be here soon enough.

 

Rebound, if you don't have a build month by now you best ask the Prius Team to look into it.

 

I hear ya! Mine was completed 4 minutes after the Ordering site went on line but now I just checked the web site and they told me it was built on Wednesday, 22 February. Woo Hoo!

Look for a DP plate ending 555BG, and give me a honk and a wave. Most likely nobody but the most astute Prius owners will even notice.
You'll find me daily from approx. 6-8 am at the Donut Queen on LA ave near Sinaloa. Come in and introduce yourself; the coffee is on me.

 

Just got the mail that my PIP is on its way to Putnam as well. I suppose not sure when I will get the pick up email. I am told more around Mar 2nd.

 

I am receiving my first cars, or so I am told, on Tuesday morning the 28th.
YAY!

*Someone* needs to get into Danny's left ear about his Prius Chat swag. I haven't gotten anything to give you folks from PC, so maybe he plans to mail these things later? I've bugged him enough on Facebook. It's someone else's turn LOL!

And, lastly, :: sigh :: thank you for your patience. The PHEV and the Prius c rollout in the same week is a crazy time for me. It coinciding with gas hitting $4.20 a gallon here is gonna put me in a white jacket with backwards sleeves!

 

Might be worth a trip down to see you this week, Dianne. (Either the cars or the straight-jacket would do!)

I ordered at ten after, but my dealer took 5 hours to process it, so I got bumped a month.

 

Hey, isn't there at least one Prius owner that's working the Docks?
And doesn't he/she know that we are waiting for photos of the off-loading of the new PIPs.
Someone on the Docks MUST know that this is a BIG Deal !!!

Are there any PriusChat users that work ANY of the Docks in the US that Toyota uses?

My dealer took 4 days to process and mine is built already. Must be the blizzard pearl, limited run. I'd log into the website and see if the update is there 1st. That's how I found out.

Anyone have any idea whn I should get mine? I ordered around noon same day order window opened. It is looking more like I wont get mine in the month of March...

There seems to be no rhyme or reason for the order in which our PiPs are built. I saw one woman who has an order number less than 100 whose car has not been built yet. my order number of 1033 has not been built. Others with order numbers closer to 4000 are on the ship Eminent Ace which should get delivered next week. Ask your dealer to look up your vehicle in his Toyota computer system. He should be able to tell you the build week in the computer. My build week was week 8 which was last week. So, there are no guarantees that that is accurate. It is a ballpark figure. My dealer told me the Toyota system has my delivery between Mar 19 - Apr 4. So, hang in there and talk to your dealer.

 

Hi Mike, My order page says the same thing. My dealer said that my Blizzard Pearl is scheduled to built on 2/27. Does anyone know how long it takes to have it built?
