Measurements of front and rear illuminated door sills

    I was wondering if someone with the lighted/illuminated aluminum/metal door sills installed (like the ones offered in our Prius shop/store: http://priuschat.com/shop/product_info.php/cPath/12/products_id/136)
    could tell me the exact measurements of one of the front ones and of one of the rear ones (the centimeter width and centimeter length, preferably)..... I am researching alternatives, but need to know the measurements of a set that is KNOWN to definitely fit the Prius.....for use as a guide in my search. Then I can use those measurements to try to research others that are very close to those measurements. Thanks!!!!

    GPG, I have seen them installed on a car at the dealership and they appear to be the same dimensions as the ones presently installed on your car just illuminated.

    My car is all sealed up in plastic at the body shop, so I can't measure mine.....hint hint..... (any help would be greatly appreciated! Just need the measurements of one of the front ones and one of the rear ones...)

    The illuminated sills are the same size as the stock plastic

    Both front and rear are h = 4.2 cm

    b2 = 50.1 (front - nearest to footwell)
    b1 = 47.0 (front - farthest from footwell)

    b2 = 29.9 (rear - nearest)
    b1 = 27.7 (rear - farthest)

    Rear has a slight bend up from a flat plane as the sill rises to the rear of the car.

    I forgot about that your car was not in your possession. I would go out and measure mine but I am currently geographically separated from my car at this time. I am kinda upset with myself I had written you a lengthy PM in response to your headlight thread I thought I had sent it and I must have closed or clicked off the window and It was lost. I will try to compose another when I have time, don't worry it was all good and I am happy you reposted the pictures. Are you going to have custom possibly Lexus illuminated door sills fabricated?

    Hey! No biggie! I've wanted to run out to the garage a zillion times to check different things on my car, then it occurs to me that it is about 15 miles away! lol! I know what u mean about losing a message. I don't know what's up w/ our website sometimes cause I've clicked submit many many times before after composing a lengthy message....only to get some weird screen and losing the message.

    And yes, I have been working on the Lexus sills, depending on what they end up costing. I think they are much better looking than the ones that say Prius on them, if a person feels he absolutely has to have lighted sills!
