Well I purchased the 8 LED DRL off ebay and the quality is not so good. The light does not seem to be very "white" or uniform. Go Hong Kong!! Anyway, check them out. Anyone know of a quality set? They look like 8k to me, I was looking for something along 6k and uniform as far as the light.
WOW, those things are so blue, I bet a Highway Patrol or other peace officer could pull you over and issue a fixit ticket, or worse. In most states, no Blue or Red lights in front unless you are a Peace Officer. I agree, way too Blue. You want 5k to 6k max for White light! I was thinking the same thing. If they're "emergency" colors, (red or blue), I thought it was illegal. And I'm not sure I like the blue to be honest. I do like the placement though. White kinda blindingly stands out.... Wonder what painting them same color as the car??? Photoshop time, edit, no same color is out! I do like the wheels however. I am guessing 16", 0r 17"?
I guess I will look harder an see if I can find some SMD/SMT type LEDs that are closer to white. I disconnected them for now.
Does anyone know if there is a quality L.E.D. foglight replacement lamp, I'm looking for a direct unplug of the old ones and plug in of a new one, I'm hoping for a row of three L.E.D.s with two more above and two below; kind of like an older Infiniti Q45 gatling gun headlamps but much much smaller.
Try looking on superbrightleds.com They've got quite a few options. I would go with HIDs though. Much brighter than the LEDs
I believe California is supposed to be the same, but with all the newer cars coming with the LED DRLs, it's not really a big deal anymore.
I'd like to change out the bulbs in my foglights for LEDs. How do you get to the bulbs to change them? Thanks for any help.

Agreed 100%. Much better than those blue ones. And the clean white does look good with the red. It looks like they put out a pretty good amount of light too. Nicely done. This is how mine looks on the floor with all 3 sets of lights (headlights, fogs, LEDs): Now you gotta get some white Volks to go with the red. Red and white always look good =P
Honestly I only bought the LEDs as DRLs, that was it. They are bright at night, but DRLs save me $10/mo on insurance.
