What color cargo area mats??

Yes, that's standard across the board. Owners of Bisque have it worse as they still get the light gray cargo and headliner. At least it's a close match to Misty Gray.

 

I read before that the 2012 come with black mats but mine are more light gray. Did I get the wrong mats? The cargo mat is more bisquey that matches the cargo area colors.

 

You have a Winter Gray 2012? Mats should be more like charcoal if this is any indication and the birdeye photos also illustrate that all the interior colors have light gray cargo area.

Although my mats seem slightly lighter but perhaps I just think that because I thought they were suppose to be black. So yeah, dark gray (charcoal) but I wouldn't quite call that black, especially when surrounded by black (to me!) trim. I'll have to look at the cargo area a little more closely but I thought it seemed more beige to me, a slight hint of yellow. It's definitely a lighter color. I guess we all see and describe colors slightly differently.

So you have Dark Gray interior. 2012 Misty Gray and I believe Bisque have nearly black carpeting.

 

I see, thanks. I thought I read that all 2012s have black mats and kept seeing people referring to black mats and I was starting to feel left out.

 

Yeah, the reference photos for Dark Gray on Toyota's site aren't exactly accurate as they're still showing light gray console box (when it's actually black) and carpeting darker than they should be. They could simply be photos or renderings of pre-production models. We now know from actual photos that carpeting is lighter gray in Dark Gray and black in Misty Gray. I haven't seen actual photos of Bisque but I assume it has black carpeting just like Misty Gray.
