Anyone looking to replace their stock front parking bulbs to match their LED headlights better, don't bother getting the Philips Blue Vision bulbs mentioned in the OP (or the similar Osram Cool Blue bulbs). They're still very much yellow and not even a close match.

The LED headlights might be rated 4300K, but it doesn't look like that 4300K color as the plastic headlight housings have a slight blue tint to them and the projector itself could possibly contribute to the blue tinge (as it's strongly angle-dependent). The front side marker housings lack this blue tint. For this reason, the 5100K "natural white" WLED-WHP5 from superbrightleds that a lot of people here are using looks too white next to the LED headlights. I tried a couple of different LEDs rated at 5500K and 6000K but they looked way too blue compared to the LED headlights.

I finally found a great match for the LED headlights. It's the ABD Xenon Extreme White sidelight bulb. They're not LEDs though and the drawback is the bulbs are tinted deep blue (vs. light blue of the Philips Blue Vision) as well as not very bright being ordinary halogen bulbs. However, it's the closest match I could find and has no hint of yellow at all, pictured below.

Nice. I think the 5100K is Cool White. I have Natural White for my cargo area and it's the same yellow tinge as halogen but much brighter. You're right about the colour since the Cool Whites match my 5000K HIDs quite well and I assume stock LEDs are at a lower temperature.

Yeah, SBL lists the 5100K LED as "Natural White," hence my quotation marks. I also didn't like how the WLED-WH5P looked in the interior (too harsh on the eyes, with a garish tint to them), so I've switch them out to 6000K iJDMTOY LEDs. The iJDMs coordinate much better with the Misty Gray interior I have, are easier on my eyes and a better match for the turn signal puddle/driving lights. I still prefer warm white for the interior and would not have changed my interior bulbs if it wasn't for the color mismatch after installing the turn signal mirrors.

So how do you like these compared to the regular wedge 5-SMDs? Tried them in the parking or license area?

    Thanks!

Lots of folks today are looking for warm white PAR38 LED bulbs that are dimmable. As you may know, most LED light bulbs will not work with a standard dimmer or with those fixtures with electric eyes that come on automatically at dusk or when a motion is detected.

The "whitest" aftermarket high performance halogen bulb that I know of is the Silverstar Ultra. But they're mostly for looks (they're only ~10% brighter than stock).

What bulbs has everyone used to swap out the back up lights. I just received a set that I ordered today and they are to big diameter wise. The bulb type is right it just seems that there are to many LED's. I believe there is 13 bulbs on it. Anyone have a link to the right size? And is the case the same with the turn signals front and back?

No I haven't this was my first try. Just wanted to see if anyone has replaced these yet before I waste more money on other bulbs.

Oh ok. I haven't changed my reverse bulbs since they're not used often. I have 5 bulbs in all the other 194/168 areas. I think they might not be bright enough for reverse lights.

I am having trouble removing the plastic cover of the roof (one on top of the passenger compartment) and visor lights (lights behind the sun visor) on a 2011 Prius. I am replacing with LED lights.

any tips on how to get it off?

Photos and descriptions in this thread for map light covers and door lights, just back some posts...:

Be very careful with the map light covers on both removal and replacement. It is easy to break the clip and some have done so.
