We've mostly seen the interior of the orange Prius c with the two-tone fabric.

Here's a different one with what looks to be SofTex w/ cloth inserts (3rd photo)??? It has heated seats (see the 1st photo).

Look closely and it appears that the dash and cloth inserts have the same pattern!

I like that a lot better than that two-tone fabric.

The base model doesn't have SKS.

There are other things it doesn't seem to have. See the "English Prius c manual available thread". Somebody posted a link to the manual and I looked at it for options:

I'll withhold judgement until I can see it in person (Milwaukee Auto Show end of February?), but those door panels look horribly cheap. Especially in the rear doors.

I agree, however, that these seats look much better than the two-tone ones we've seen before.

i agree, there are a lot of very cheap, shiny, hard plastics in the interior. Hopefully it's only on pre-production models...

A few more things from these photos

    • Looks like the front seats are perched high up which means plenty of footroom for rear passengers
    • It has a nice graphic display on the MID for which doors/hatch is/are open rather than a generic red "door ajar" light
    • The white panels do look cheap in the rear but it may be the flash because the panel to the right of the photo looks better and less glossy
    • Did Toyota mention whether this car will have the DA w/ nav and Entune or just Nav? I see an "Apps" and a "Car" button on the right of the display
    • The front door panel looks ok and reasonably stylish (But definitely wished they went with a darker colour. This looks too much like the Volt I sat in with white door panel inserts)
    • No rear overhead assist grips
    • No height adjustable front seat belts

I'm thinking that the photos may be of a pre-production model, which is why things like the door panels appear as they do.

Good point. I remember at Detroit that some of the panels were unfinished and had a smooth, glossy finish.

The MID looks to be the same display that the Highlander, Venza, and Sienna use.

The Maps the non-premium Entune interface is under the Apps menu.

Hmm, a generic economy car interior. It'd look lots better if 134hp were under the hood, instead of 99.

And that observation about the plugged ignition key hole...yikes. Usually it's the economy version of a car that has stuff like that...not the upgrade!

I like the layout much better than the Gen III. 4 more Gen II payments, upgrade already time? Gotta see it in person.
Yeah Pinto Girl, keep the 134 HP engine, dump down to 99 HP, 99, really ?
The plugged up ignition keyhole stands out like a sore thumb. I also noticed the go "ball" has transformed into a standard looking PRNDL handle, should have kept the Gen III unit! Yeech!

Remember, this isn't sold as a Prius vehicle in Japan so there will be fewer similarities than the Prius v which is sold as the Prius Alpha in Japan.

But this is most likely a pre-production model the pics were taken of, so maybe for production the higher end model will have a non plugged column cover.

Not likely since this requires a separate steering column to be manufacturered. Besides, who's gonna see that anyway? The front passenger?

Even if it is only the front passenger, it's still a bit tacky looking for a 'loaded' model vehicle to have IMO... I too doubt they'll make a column just for the uppity model but it would be nice.

I'm in the who cares column too, but it's just one molded plastic piece and would be easy for Toyota to replace on the smart key models.

They probably just pulled it out of the parts bin for some other low end Toyota so they have 0 cost for design, development and stocking costs for that part.

It would be very unlike Toyota to have a separate column for the higher trim levels, and directly against the philosophy of this model.
