I uploaded a picture with two arrows pointing to it. The lights look like the Audi lights. I looked at my headlights, and I seem to have those lights but they do not light up when I turn on the driving lights or the headlights. So how did the lights light up in the picture from Blinglights.com?
:welcome: to PRIUSchat. :cheer2: The little bumps in the OEM headlight assembly are just that; bumps that simulate the look of LEDs. There have been posts by owners who baked their headlights to soften the glue between the lens and body and taking them apart. They then added LED strips and close everything back up. IIRC, in one case the little bumps were drilled out and individual LEDs installed. If you dig around with the search function, I'm sure you'll find the details.
wow, bake the headlights to soften the glue? some people go pretty far to make their prius look good. but thank you for your reply
The Bling people probably sell the part you would need to make your car look like that. They don't come that way.
Yeah those LED lights were custom made. The paint is from the Infiniti line too (and it's a nice colour).
