Brand New 2004-2009 Toyota Prius BT Tech Skid Plate** NEW PRICE $225 Shipped** Here is a brief description of the skid plate. R.I.P Brian. Selling for $225shipped Product Description The purpose for this product was to protect the exposed engine/transaxle/generator components on the underside of the vehicle. Normally, most cars have such components protected by either a shield or a cross member that acts as a shield. On the Prius, there is no such protection and quite a few Prius owners have had to pay out thousands of dollars due to debris hitting and damaging vital engine components. Our BT Tech Prius Skid plate was designed for this reason and protects these components and prevents costly damage from occurring. A secondary benefit of our skid plate is that is smooths the airflow on the underside of the chassis which will aid in high speed stability. This product consists of aircraft grade aluminum that has been laser cut and CNC Machined for an exact fit and finish and for easy assembly. All aluminum surfaces of our skid plate are coated with a black powder coated finish for superior durability. A complete set of instructions and hardware is included with each kit. This product along with all of BT Tech’s products are designed and manufactured in the United States of America.
Could you, for the fun of it, have a look on how much postage to Holland would be? (Provided you would be willing to ship). Last purchase from the states more than doubled in price by the time it was on my doorstep so probably not worth it...
I'm not familiar with the Prius as if and when the body style has changed. Maybe someone can chime in and help. A close friend of mine was Friends with Brian and Had some of these. Instead of throwing them out. I figured it would nice to offer them to the Form members. I have just sold one to 303Prius maybe he can chime in and answer your question.
R-P I contacted FedEx to just get a estimate since I didnt have a postal code I was still able to get a some what of a figure and man you are correct! They Quoted $400+ to ship I guess maybe due to size of box. If your willing to spend $400 or so to ship please let me know. but that is crazy in my eyes.
Sent you a PM. As long as these parts fit my 2004 Prius, I just need to know how you want to handle the exchange of funds. Thanks.
Just have a few left. Anyone interested? These are currently No longer in production due to Brian's tragic death a few years ago.
