2011 Prius GPS DVD transfer to 2006 Prius

    Just bought a new 2011 Prius III with GPS nav..also have 2006 Prius with GPS...Can the DVD from the 2011 Prius be removed and then reinstalled in the 2011 without screwing things up. Or will a copy of the DVD from 2011 work in the 2006 model?

    Research using the search tool here suggests your plan will not work. They are totally different GPS systems and the discs are not compatible.
