Part II: Installation and Initial Review of Valenti JDM full LED tail lamps from TWP

I am interested ...model : T01058 (or any of that style for that matter), seems to be good, a web electrics module would work with it for DRL ... Can someone tell me where I could get this relatively soon ? It doesnt have to be MBRO, but having it soon is important to me .

I have these "DLR" on my car for several weeks now (after Bino sent me the link). Unfortunately, the LEDs of these light are not bright enough to be called real DLR. I tried to open them to replace the LEDs with brigher ones, but these will not work without damaging them. Also the amber turn LEDs are not really bright. Installation was easy but I had to make a special electrical connection with a relay that switches them off when the headlights turn on automatically (law in Europe). I would get in touch with the (unknown) manufacturer first to check if brigher LEDs are possible before starting a group buy.

 

Yuck, there is another brand sold in Japan that looks much better. They were noted in another thread here recently.

 

Must be one of those personal preference things, cause I thought the other ones were just plain, boring, and fugly.... My favorite so far are still

Yeah, that is cool the way it's an up-and-down "bar" of LED's...

 

Except for the loss of dedicated fog lights.

It's only so very slightly thinner than the laughably thick border found on others. Surely Valenti can make one that leaves all others in the dust, as they do with the taillights.

 

Yeah, I wish someone could get them to do something, but was anyone ever successful in getting them to actually begin creating such an item, or does it still remain merely a wish?

Can someone confirm that the Valenti's also fit the 2012 Prius (they have updated taillights)

 

I don't see why not? The updated taillights are still half-LED and the exact same dimensions as the 2010/11 stock taillights.
