    Damn that looks good!

Are those staggered wheel sizes from front to rear? For some reason the rears look larger. While you're at it you might as well disclose the springs/struts and tires you have because I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering. lol

That's a good track. Challenging, but it won't kill you if you run off into the dirt.

    Who were you running with?

Posting picture of your car at the track w/ plate # -- ever worry that TOA (Toyota of America) could try to void the warranty?

Very nice pictures by the way. :)

Why not take the roof rack off?

You could probably shave 5 or 6 seconds off your lap times if you took the bike rack off.

I raced motorcycles at Thunderhill for years, on any challenging road course it is 80% driver, 20% machine so he may be keeping a healthy gap on the traffic.

I think the central valley sun shining on the A pillar makes it look larger than normal. If you look through the back part of the driver's window you can see the gray surface of the track.

Well, maybe... some kind of weird reflection/refraction perhaps.

It's not that important, but to my eye the drivers window looks
blanked out in tan -- interior color? --, and even has shadows
    projected on it. :noidea:

out of sheer curiosity, what was your mpg afterwards? 28/29?

were you able to get enough speed to push the traction control a bit? i would assume a couple laps would be ok.. the 1st lap would be murder... if you look at those pics in reverse order, it seems the cars behind you are gaining on you in that turn... a backup almost?

i've always wanted to take my prius on a real course... solo racetrack courses were fun but kinda pointless. the real fun is in a large full track.

doesn't the larger rear tire make you go slower? when i had larger rears on, i could feel the tire drag in many ways... it also made oversteer a huge problem.. maybe it's not noticeable with your setup?... i know the gen III could handle a larger setup but curiosity gets the best of me.

Did they time it with a stopwatch, or a calendar?

Haha, don't get bent out of shape, just joking.
