So here I was, under the hood topping off the windshield washer fluid, pre-holiday roadtrip. I was admiring the amazingness that is the hybrid powertrain (and anticipating explaining it to relatives - again), and I noticed a strange thing... I was looking down into the space behind the inverter, at what I'm guessing is the main traction electric motor, and there's a deep threaded hole in the top of it, with nothing in it. It looks like it should have a bolt, or at least a plug/bung in it. I know this sounds like a very strange query, but is this normal? (Or, can you take a quick peek at your car and see if yours is the same...) Here are two quick photos, with the hole in question circled in yuck-green. (Sorry for the off-focusness of the 2nd one, but the hole in question is about a foot below that bracket that's in focus.) closeup:

Argh! - the elves are being bad to me today. I was unaware that the splendid mods had moved it for me so quickly... My bad - I guess I'll be collecting coal on Sunday! In other news - YES - if you clicked through to this thread, please visit the appropriate one that Tom linked above. Thanks.
It's on mine as well. It looks like the "hole" was machined into the housing at somepoint, but never had threads tapped into it. Possibly a mounting point for another configuration?
Even if this is a re-post of a topic glad you posted it. It's easy to miss previous posts on the subject.
