What would you do if you found this note on your Pri

danboy there is a multi-quote button that will allow you to select multiple posts and quote them in your reply, instead of replying one by one. I am not trying to insult you or anything, just letting you know. It took me awhile to figure out how to do it myself. If you hit the button in the pane of the thread you want to quote the red circle with the minus sign will turn to a green plus sign . Then all of the posts that you select will be quoted in your reply.

Can we have a look at your car? I'm intrigued why the note referred to a spoiler when the car already has a built-in duck tail spoiler.

 

Yeah I was thinking the same thing, however the OP made it very clear in reply #45 that his Prius is unmodified. So the little note poster obviously is referring to the stock standard "duck tail" fairing at the rear of the hatch. Makes his (note poster) comments even stupider in my opinion.

I would blow it off. Whoever left the note is trying to get a rise out of you. He is a dimwit that is looking for reaction. Hell temporarily mount a big ol whale tail spoiler on the rear window for a joke. That would probably really get his beanie spinning.

 

danboy said he has the touring model which came with a slightly longer spoiler from the factory. Very few people notice the difference.

 

Ignore it. Then get yourself one of those oval 56 MPG stickers.

Unfortunately, it seems to me in all of this that the OP does not know which of his co-managers left the note. It might have been the lifted Hemi truck guy, but we don't know that. I drive a big truck as well as the Prius, and most truck guys I know are not anti-hybrid. If anything, they wish they had one.....not in place of the truck but in addition to it.

I think I'd be tempted to simply turn a copy of the note (hang onto the original) over to HR and inform them of the situation for future reference in case future problems arise or occur. Until the identitiy of the note-writer is determened, it's all just a waste of time, energy and emotion.
