What would you do if you found this note on your Pri

Those Prius hater will never know the goodness of it. Ignore them,keep smiling and enjoy the wonderful car.

 

Ignoring it will make them more annoyed because they went through the effort to try and diss you and it didn't work. On the otherhand you could ask to review the parking lot security cameras and turn the idiot in for harassment.

 

I would just add your MPG numbers, and post it on a company board read by the fellow managers.....to really stick it to 'em, calculate how much money the MPG savings added up to! Mention with all that savings you can now take that 2 week Cruise you and the Missus always wanted!

I bet you can figure out who wrote it, check out the other cars...it might be really obvious!

 

Wait...what? A spoiler won't make it go faster? But seriously, who takes the time to write something up like that and print it? If it turns out to be someone with a giant lift kit on their huge nice person truck I dare you to leave a note that says "Dear Douche, lifting your truck toward the skies won't get you any closer to god or make your d**k any longer"

 

It is quite obvious that the person who took the time to PRINT out the letter is merely jealous. That's it.

 

Responding will only give him the attention he obviously craves. Be the better person and just ignore it.

 

If anything it will set a precedent for his antics so that if anything worse happens in the future you will have more evidence for a motive and prior harassment. It would be fun to see how he much he likes his Hemi when he is jobless and cannot afford gas....

 

Actually, the irony is that note is true for pretty much ALL vehicles that have spoilers on them. I might make the exception for the Super Bird. Now THAT was a spoiler!

Of course the seemingly wisest thing to do is ignore it. Let idiot sleeping donkey dogs lie...

But I think it's is significant that this happened at work, evidently by a co-worker and fellow manager...

If I found the same note after shopping at Wal-Mart? I'd crumple it up, laugh and drive away...

But that's someone you work with, concievably compete with on a professional level. And make no mistake, that note is an attack. A childish, and highly cowardly attack but an attack on not just your Prius, but your gender and manhood.

I'd let it go. Probably not worth escalating to a "war" as you say. But, I might react. I might just casually let it be known that you found the stupid cowardly note and that you aren't happy.

Keep in mind? A weakness of mine is sometimes not knowing when NOT to go to war.

But since this is the workplace? I don't necessarily perceive this as totally harmless. I'd let it pass this time. But if demeaning notes continue? You may have to professionally escalate this...because you have a right to drive what you wish, and not find your car littered with IMO not so humorous notes slandering your gender and manhood.

I'm glad you can take it so lightly. And I sincerely hope it is simply a one time idiotic incident.

Amazing isn't it? Its 2012 and were still wasting our time on this crap.

A coworker was kidding with me the other day and making fun of my gay Prius. I said yeah 55 miles to the gallon is really gay. He stopped laughing and said your kidding right?

I routinely get hassled by PU trucks behind me.The more jacked up they are the more I get hassled.
Tampa Florida is redneck central.
They enjoy flying up behind me while I'm in the slow lane rolling with traffic and just miss my rear quarter panel when they go by me.

Lately I don't let them get up to me. Its killing my mileage but I can outrun most jacked up F150's. Which must make them insanely mad

But not sure how good your HR rep is but I would go talk to them about this. Tell them your afraid for your safety. You should not have to put up with any kind of bullying like this. I would take this very personal if it was me.
Go to security and see if its on videotape and get this donkey fired. I agree with Electric.

 

The thing I find absolutely hilarious is that the note poster makes jokes about your "macho" yet is himself such a wus that he has to leave anonymous little notes instead of coming out and talking directly. Ha!

 

Put a "Hemi" sticker on the side of your Prius.
