Thank you sir! They are 45mm. Everything I read was to steer closer to 45mm and away from 35mm offsets to help with rubbing. After seeing these on my car, I would not go wider than a 7.5. The fronts are as far out as I would want them. The rears are a little more tucked and could use a spacer. 18" are 22lbs...17" are 20lbs. You can see some more specs on their website here: Drag Wheels. Extreme Alloys. | DR-33 (FLAT BLACK W/ RED STRIPE, RALLY BRONZE, CHARCOAL GRAY)

For some reason, they do not show all finishes on their website including mine. Only discount tire was showing them in the three finishes I was looking at (chrome, silver, and machined). You can see the remaining specs in my signature (added them now). I modeled my car off another on here that I saw...cannot express how helpful it is to get info from actual owners before making a purchase!

Now to see if they come in a 7" width which is better suited for the 205/50R17 tire size that I want. Have you seen a drop in MPG & by how much?

Bummer that those only come in a 7.5" width. I do like the DR-9 too which does come in a 7" width & it weighs less at 18.4 lbs which is always good. The offset is 40mm but with the 7" width the wheel actually sticks out 1mm less so the look will be similar. :)

Be sure to compensate for such a small tire. The revs per mile are WAAAY higher than the oem 195/65/15 so your speedometer is going to be way off. :)

Honestly I do not know yet...but I expect it. I am still on my first tank of gas. I only managed to make it 200 miles before I had to change the rims and tires :) The first 100 to 150 miles, I had no idea how to drive the car...but getting the hang of it now. There is no way I am going back to the stock wheels...I am fully committed.

Gotcha. I looked at the DR-9 just now...good looking wheel. I wanted a lighter wheel and tire, but I got hooked on those DR-33´s. My Eibach kit just came in today...hopefully I can get it on this weekend.

By the way, love your MR2. I had a ´86 normally aspirated. I loved that car.

Sorry about that, it was a typo. I'm looking at 205/50R17 tires. I really like the new Yokohama YK580 that just came out.

Thanks. I love my MR2. It's such a blast to drive. I may have to get the DR-9 even though I like several other wheels more they don't come in the size that I want.

Just a reminder that the 225/40 18 is a bit taller than the stock tire which would decrease RPM therefore decreasing the display's MPG even if all else remained the same. With that said, remember to drive a little slower to avoid a ticket! lol

It may not decrease RPM since the Prius does not operate on a fixed gearset like a conventional car. In fact, rpm may go up due to the, extra weight and friction. The engine will have to put out more HP to maintain a certain speed. I've observed this with my 15s and 17s.

Just check your speedometer with a GPS to see if there is any difference.
