This went quite well thanks to Tim for the shell and Texas Audio for finish and install. Thanks for the JLW3 and RF 200.2 goes to a fellow e46fanatic.
This was highly discussed. Frodoz came to see install. They didnt have a match and figured go for something different. I really wanted something exact but it just wasn't going to happen. I have the black mats and a black car, so Kinda went with the the flow of the car...I have no better argument. I spent a lot of time trying to find oem fabric.
Nice install and fit, but why you choose the right side of cargo? There is 12V accessory battery compartment, so the subwoofer has to be removed when you would need to access the battery.
It's a question of airspace for the sub, for a 10" JLW3 the passenger side has just enough room if you want to put something in stealthy. The driver's side is considerably smaller (not enough space unless you pull up floor piece and build down into the bottom of the trunk). Tim made a few of these and the reviews came in very good. Thanks to Tim for his time and efforts. The box is amazingly solid, better than any MDF you would get off the shelf. It sounds amazing, except I still need to do some sound deadening. Need more time to find the culprits.
Almost all electric Toyota guides start with the minus lead disconnection. Yes, I know it is not always necessary, but SRSs bags can be really dangerous.

Realize that this phone is the sh*tiest sounding and has aweful video as well. It will sound way better with a real video camera. If I find someone with one I'll add that up! Second video doesn't show it well, but the Rearview mirror was shaking like CRAZY, could not see the car behind me clearly, I'll put a rock song on, it sounds better IMO with a Chili Peppers or Metallica or AC/DC, even Listening to LIVE sounded great with the additional bass.
Bass never records well. At least your mirror stays in place. My mirror has weakened over the years with heavy bass. Now it tilts out of alignment when I crank the system up. I blame the 2 Diamond D612s and Diamond 1500w sub amp. lol
