The other day, after driving home, I found out that my front Prius emblem had fallen off (or someone took it, who knows). Thus, I need to replace it. Was looking through the forums but couldn't find a website that carries the original emblem. Any leads to a shop that has the original would be much appreciated. I have a Toyota Prius 2010.
As that is a part of the car from the factory, that would only be available from your Toyota dealer. It is screwed on with 2 screws from the back, so it is a bit odd that it is missing. Someone must have either broken it to get it off or raised your hood and unscrewed it. It is a bit hard on the hand to get to it also. So, you will need the emblem, the plastic backing (that has the blue color) and the 2 screws.
Have you replaced your emblem yet? Did your prius have radar cruise control? The front emblem on cars with radar cruise control are specific to that option. The emblem is usually $900+!!! Yes, I didn't mistake that price as I work for a Toyota dealership. I do have a slighly damaged emblem from a prius that was in a collision for sale if you're interested. Let me know.
Since a level IV Prius is involved, the radar cruise control isn't involved. I'd go to a Toyota dealership and have the emblem replaced as a warranty item. Or, I have a "spare" OEM front emblem that you can have. Send me a PM and we can figure out the transfer.
