Same here; very professional and fast - I switched to Putnam after my local dealer wanted full MSRP and wasn't really on top of the whole process. The order got confirmed about a minute after I had submitted it at 9:01.
Another great experience dealing with Andrey at Putnam. Everything was exactly as he said and went smoothly. The only difficult part will be waiting until next year to pick up my new PiP! Thanks again Andrey!!
Andrey confirmed my order as well. But he didn't take the deposit. Said he couldn't. Have the rest of you made the deposit already?
My experience - not so smooth. I phoned Putnam right after placing the order, but was told Andrey wouldn't be in until the next day, so call back. His online confirmation didn't include the $500 discount. When I replied by email he said he would discount it at time of delivery but couldn't change the price in the system. So I did a "change dealer" back to Putnam, which cleared the price. Hopefully he can do it right now, but I'll lose a day and probably move way back in the production queue.
Wow! While I was typing this in, Andrey was resubmitting with the correct price - after 9 pm! Order is now confirmed! That's taking care of business! I am impressed!

Andrey was fast. my order was in at 9:08 and confirmed at 9:11. three minutes to Andrey accepting and my confirming. it took me 8 mins because i had to change dealer and that process was stuck. plus i was doing this from parking lot of Dr's office over 3g connection.
Agree! Andrey is one of the best -very professional and prompt all inquiries. Placed my order at 9:01, but I was too busy at work to follow-up. Andrey called and emailed to remind me to completed the order. All questions to him during the day via email were answered promptly within minutes. Looking forward to delivery of the car...
I'm just curious what all this "confirmed order" at so and so time means? What exactly was the process all y'all are talking about? Just wondering, I'm still kind of new around here.
The Plugin went on sale for priority registrants on 11/17 at 9am. The customer had to submit the order, the dealer then had to confirm the price and the customer had to then confirm the overall order. Time of confirmed order would determine the place in line at the factory - first come first serve. Confirmed order at 9:01am shows how knowledgeable and committed Andrey was with this process.
I am so glad I didn't go with any of the several local dealerships who were either uninformed about the whole ordering process or would only sell at MSRP. Traveling down south made no sense either. Andre, at Putnam Burlingme, made the whole experience a smooth one. I'll be trading in my 2010 with him as well. I would recommend him to anyone in the Bay Area who has not yet made their plug-in purchase. It was a no-hassle transaction; thanks Andre!
