I have to explain that one? Really? If you're going to insist on dating someone really smart, you'll have to be a little sharper with the humour.

No, I wasn't around either when the Wizard of Oz came out, but Dorothy's Ruby Red slippers are part of the culture. And 'sipper' is a clever play on words that references good gas mileage. Why do I feel like Sheldon all of a sudden?

hee hee hee. just bc i didn't get your dorothy meets prius joke doesn't mean that I'm not sharp. most jokes are lost on me anyway, and people always have to explain jokes to me. i thought you misspelled "slipper" and you were making some sort of ruby glass slipper joke....anyway...maybe someone else could let us know if it was a great joke.

hee hee hee. driving a prius is not a prereq to dating me. the ex bf from ucla who owned a prius, totally coincidental. i didn't even know he owned a prius until after he totaled it and was telling me about this site. we only dated for a few mo during my 3rd yr at ucla. but he has a great sense of humor and even a few weeks ago, was making me laugh my nice person off.

hee hee, i have to go back to work. I'm hanging out at a mac store right now trying to respond to the posts.

so are you guys going to the event on sat?

i am not super nerdy actually. i think i just kinda want to be. i dont really know how to respond to peoples posts by copying their text. is it just a regular copy and paste? i dont follow a lot of this thread etiquette. when i was 16, i did spend a lot of time in aol chat rooms. but posting on this site feels really retro. like the way things were before friendster/myspace/facebook/google+ came along. i think this site is a bit difficult to navigate. ok, i need to work on a job application for a really hot job...it is so hot and so nerdy, omg it would be amazing if i could get it.
