You guys were the only country in the world to get HIDs for the Gen 2 (except for 2 special editions in Japan in 2007 and 2009). You guys are the only country in the world to get LKA. What do you mean you never get anything good
I agree that we get a few nice things in Europe such as turn signals in the mirrors or even power folding mirrors in the upcoming facelift but on the other hand we dont´t get LKA,TPMS and not to mention your wipers with an extended range and btw. the base price for a Prius in Europe is 25750 Euro which means 35560.75 dollars ! If we order the top-model with solar roof,pre-crash,nav and leather the price rises to about 35000 Euros ! 48335 dollars !
If you want signal mirror, there's a thread on how and where to buy them and how to install them. The OEM signal mirror is not that good. It only has turn signal. The aftermarket one has turn signal, white running lights/side marker and an entry light/puddle light. The turn signal and running lights are switchbacks.
I've followed that thread and realistically, how hard is it for a non-DIY? I did the foglight mod on my own as a comparision and I have next to zero tools lol.
It's not that hard. The hardest part is locating the dome light wire and you can easily catch that at the driver side A pillar. Popping the mirror out and back in is a bit tricky
Yeah I held off this year (ok.. chickened out lol). I live next to a police station so I don't know how much more attraction I need (Cool white LED parking lights, 5000K HIDs and eventually cool white LED "image" lamps in the mirrors...)
