Dark Grey, Misty Grey, or Bisque? I'm most likely waiting for the 2012 My Prius to come out and am still trying to decide on interior color. I like the Dark Grey because most of the interior trim all match and is not contrasting too much like Bisque. What's your opinion?
Definitely Dark Grey for me. And for 2012 the Dark Grey has a bit more contrast than for 2010/11 in that the center armrest is black, more dash parts are black like the glove box and some of the interior door panel. I've seen it and it looks sharp.
Misty Grey because of the contrast but I ended up with Dark Grey because that was the first one in. Note that the 2012's Dark Grey is two-tone with medium/light grey contrasting seats and door panels. Misty Grey is now monotone.
I like the way bisque seating and the black interior design compliment and contrast each other. Not sure what it would like like in the v though. I even had it in my previous car and I wasn't ready for a change by the time we brought the Prius. I only like dark leather in sports cars,:car:
Tired of dark and grey interiors (my last few cars have been that way), much prefer bisque. Ask me again in 5 years and I might feel differently.
I got dark grey but i like mystey grey better, but here in Canada not available anymore i think! But for 2012, i think if they dont change the plastic of the dash and make it darker, scratches will show even more!!!!
The dark grey is now almost black with a medium grey two-tone insert on the seats and door panels. At least that's what I saw on the US models at Green Drive Expo.
I like the light grey. It goes well with just about any exterior colour, and seems to give a more spacious feel to the cabin than black. A buddy of mine has a Corvette with a red interior, and it's a bit much.
My 02 vette was black with a red interior. You're right, it was a bit much. I put in black Lloyd floor and cargo mats to tone it down.
I assume it's bright red and red all over? If it was red, I prefer Toyota's approach (which is of course the conservative route). If you recall the Cressida with the dark red interior or the current Sequoia with the Red Rock interior.
